just wonderin if anybody has put ultra's in the front of their vl. i currently have supers in the front but want it lower, have heard that ultra's in the front mean lots of trouble wit scrubage and damaged wheel arches. can anyone tell me if this is true or it is sweeet to do cheers vlw4nk3r

hahaha daggy, i've seen your car around, im really surprised that you haven't got a defect yet! chopped springs yeah? Off the top of my head, the lowest it can be legally is 100mm off the ground or something like that. Try a set of King Springs Superlows on it? I've got a set on my VN, and its enough to make it scrape on some speedhumps.

King spring superlows are prob the go, it's usually your exhaust that will hang too low. Ride gets harsh though.

yeah nah ive beeen close to a few well 4 including saturday night.. he was a good copp but he let meoff as it wasnt raining < and yeah, ill probly find otu about the ozmoses someone mentioned in a thread a while ago,and get a new exhaust a tad higher as its like 6cm of the ground, still wont scrape down rowers and barly scrapes in maccas gateways a a killer tho ;/ how low from the standard hight is ultras? anyone got any pics of ultra(front n back) and super(front n back)?? or know anything about ozmoses springs ? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I have got Ultra Low Kings all round in my VK, they reckon 65mm lower than standard, It isn't sitting right in the front yet, as the motor is out.

for SA mine is pretty much as low as it can go at the front legally, and depending on shock absorber travel i can possibly go a little bit lower at the back. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

We just have crappy eyebrow height laws over here, measures the distance from the center of the wheel to the wheel arch so the front is sitting pretty much exactly on the lowest height you can go! edit, btw i've been to mildura a fair bit, used to live only about 1.5 hours away! hahaha mildura isn't *too* bad.. but stuff drifting 15th st roundabout for a joke - i hit a gutter n blew a tyre there the other nite ;/ oh well, that'll teach me for being a hero in the wet! Have you checked out any of the local auto parts places for shocks? I think that Super Cheap might sell them.

daggy also look aorund for pioneer springs there also quite lower then king springs ultra lows. demon8 do u recken after the engine is in that it will scrug the wheel arch when u turn. cause i have heard from one person that it will wit ultra's in the front but, he didnt want me to get them so he could of been talkin sh|t this is mine wit ultra in the back and supers in the front but it will be lower soon, goin to get the back springs re-set for $60 and ultra in the front Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
