not completely sure if these are official pics, or even if the artist had seen the vehicle and drew it up later, but if you have read the article, it makes it seem like they are.
Judging by the chroming around the doors, the fog lights and the large wheels, i am guessing this might be either the Berlina or Calais. SS would have fender vents I would say.
If this is the real deal, I dont particularly like it. I dont like the large grill, and hate that large front badge on the grill also. Not very fond of the rear lights also, they should be longer. It does have a nice side profile.
PS: Never liked that Torana TT36 concept, the rear I liked though.
a 'readable' version of that article is found in the second post of this thread http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?vie...ID=3&tID=44506 (http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?viewThread=y&gID=0&fID=3&tID=44506)

the only thing that is similar between this and the VY-VZ is the tail-lights why does the side profile make the ass look like a audi i want the wheels for my car

yuck, dont like it at all. i think the whole thing looks like an Audi, definatelly not a commodore, wouldnt even think about buying one if i had the money.

29-06-05, 21:51 GMT+10#10 It says in the article that Holden was inspired by Audi, hence you people are right on track! But design was taken 95% of the Torana TT36 I'd say.

30-06-05, 00:44 GMT+10#12 i doubt it will come with that front. its too close to the astra (it looks so tacked on). but id say thats what the roof line etc will look like.

30-06-05, 11:19 GMT+10#15 I agree with silverwags the front end will be changed . The front headlights dont wrap around the guards enough and its to square (less areodynamic means more more drag less straightline more fuel etc.) compared to the last few models.
LOL @ the dude that said holdens is going too euro and ****. The first holden commodore VB was based on an european car. Im 90%sure the euro model was the opel.
I dont like the rear and the rest is ok but i think it will grow on me. I dont like too many new cars when i first see them but over time. Its very modern looking and its a big jump in styling.

30-06-05, 11:38 GMT+10#17 Looks great I say. Looks like a more classier car with the Audi cues. Remember this car will be heavily exported- Therefore it needs to suit several markets around the globe.
