Hey guys I own a Black VL thats has been lowered on king springs lows, I have VY GTS 18's and want to go lower, would it be feasable to go to King Springs Super lows without changing the shocks or should I change the shocks aswell? By the way I will be putting on a Group A kit and was wondering what kinda clearance I would get with the super lows? Cheers guys any help would be nice

i couldnt handle the roads round here with super lows so i went for the sport lows. i think it is 3 inches lower with the superlows sport lows worked out to be about an inch and a half lower no kit tho so there was plenty of height either way

Im running king sping lows all round and have standard shocks and it seems to be ok I suppose you need lowered shocks if you go any lower otherwise the shocks just wont work Quote: Originally Posted by Michael_v hey just wondering if i get super lows for the back can i leave standard shocks in ? i herd you gotta have lowered shocks, to keep the springs "trapt" but 1 bloke told me you dont have to ??

Yes you do have to run shorter shocks, otherwise the springs can fall out when you go over bumps at speed.

Yeah you can get away with normal shocks with lows but any lower you will need shorter shocks.

fe2 is about the same as kingspring lows... if u go superlows u need a shock that will trap the spring properly, i used pedders comfort ryder and they r beautiful (set me back $150) good all round... make the back end feel beautiful!! makes it stick to the ground heaps better than the old shocks did!! ush
