i currently have a carby 4.9litre and i have been tossing up the idea of going injected for some time now and one thing that i need to do is change the fuel system obviously. but where my question is heading to is if i keep the original fuel tank and hook up an external fuel pump running all the right fuel lines needed for the conversion will that work or do you need to use the fuel tank with the internal fuel pump. i dont see why it should work but im sure im missing something. also i know i could just go out to a wreckers and pick up a cheapy with the internal pump but im wanting to run a bigger pump. cheers dan

Dan all u gotta do is find a cheap VL wagon 6cyl shell, and take the tank and all the fuel lines/pump/etc from that.
