Im gettin sum new headlights next week and iv looked all through the forums and printed everything i can find. I just need to know how i can actually get the headlights out and how to take the glass off the headlights - do they headlights have to be compleltly removed or can u take the glass out while they are still in!! thx...and hope u like my car http://spaces.msn.com/members/blake...um&_c02_owner=1 (http://spaces.msn.com/members/blakespace18/PersonalSpace.aspx?_c01_photoalbum=showdefault&_c=photoalbum&_c02_owner=1) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

nice colour... is that the new VY Commodore colour? you'll have to take front bumper off, the mouldings from top of bumper, and the top piece that runs along the top of the headlights off as well. you can take the glass off when all those things above are removed... easy as, i'd take the whole headlight out to fit glass though just easier i think anyway... Hope this helped.

u dont have to take the front bar off - just the trim pieces that run along the top of the bumper. there are a few screws behind that platic trim, one behind the grille, and a few more from the top.

yeah you have to take that top trim off the front bumper its easier to do with the bumper off and the bumper is only 4 bolts anyway there re bolts coming down from top aswell after you get the bolts out you just unplug it from the back and slide it out you dont need to take that top piece off though like someone said when the headlight is out there are some metal clips that you can just pop off to remove the glass lense

You do need to take the lights completley out to change the gleass cause you need to sepearte the the indicators from the headlights cause there is a clip inbetween the two. Also just the bumper and trim need to be removed not the top panel though. Lata
