did autobarn sell you the adaptor plates as well? anyhow, it's not that hard to do yourself if your at all handy with metal. I'd expect to pay about $500 or so to get them installed and engineered, biggest rip off ever. Where in QLD are you located? I'd suggest calling around a few places, I know there's a few performance shops that do them. If your local (close to bris), I could come round and pull one of my seats out and let you see how easy they are to actually put in. I'd honestly suggest not putting aftermarket seats in your car because it makes it a theft magnet.

they only look ok if you: 1. Get them trimmed to match the rest of the interior! 2. Have a car that suits it (ie not a stock gemini) I'd say the best "sports" seats would come from a VT SS, very comfy and dont stand out too much! Also bolt straight up to series 2 vl's

do they bolt straight up? they would be so much better than vl seats. i've been thinkin of getting some vr/s seats but vt would be better. is it only s2 they bolt up to? didnt think there was a difference... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I bought my seats from autobarn and had them installed. I used the original rails and had them installed by Precise Trimming for $250 all up i think it was. That included mod plate aswell. I had them trimmed came out pretty good.
