Hey guys, just a big hello to everyone on the site, after a few years browsing from afar, I have finally got my ass into gear and joined. Some of you may know me from various places like Zoom or Performance forums, I had a white turbo EA falcon in zoom some years ago, others may know me from building cmy747's VL recently, who is a good mate. At the moment I own a KE70 corolla panelvan(no flamage please ) fitted with a 1ggte, a Keas 3 speed jatco, tce converter, borg warner diff, cage, VT commodore brakes front and rear with 18" BSA291 alloys, and have just finished my intercoolers(ARE dry ice) and about to start fabrication on manifolding for a GT42R(94mm version), hoping to make mid 500rwhp on race fuel for now, althogh after the car has been run and sold, I'll be moving up to a VL turbo, after building cmy747's, I just like the feel of them, and the amount of room and availability of parts, much to the dismay of my Ford orientated girlfriend Well, I guess thats enough ramble for my first post, you'll probably see my name pop up in the tech sections with anything to do with custom manifolds and turbo sizing and stuff, an area I've spent some time on over the years. Catch you all some place or other Cheers..........................Kyle, aka 6BOOST. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Thanks Nut, I have emailed you 2 pics, they should be there in a few minutes. I have included one of my manifolds as well. To answer your question Troy, yes I still make manifolds, I do it as a prt time thing now, I am much better than I used to be, and now use better technology in my collectors and design. I have made a few VL ones now, the pic is of the one for a vl with a HKS T51 KAI turbo, the runners are equal length, and the rear runner hugs the engine so you can fit a 4" dump pipe, my next manifold for a VL was better than this one for cmy747's vl, and was for a T3 flange 700 roller. I charge $1000 for them, tigged and faced, and i'll back em HP for HP and RPM for RPM of anything on the market, probably a lot better in some cases. Anyway thanks for the replies guys 6BOOST Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Troy if you are after a manifold, I beleive that Prosport (grant) makes tuned length for about $700. And welcome to MR. 6BOOST.

Well, email is sent to you nut300, I tried to send a pic of my car, but it says that it contains a virus or some ****, and hotmail won't let you attach it, which is really strange, as I have norton running all the time, and the pics are just downloaded straight from my camera to my laptop. Stupid POS. Anyway, there are 2 pics of my manifolds, have a look at the collector, its called a merge collector, same as what F1 cars and stuff use, its an awesome thing to use, when you get an Air blower on an air hose and blow up any one of the ports from the head face, it actually sucks on you hand, or creates a vacuum on the other 5 ports, which is pretty much how they were intended when originally designed, they scavenge the next cylinder and increase VE and allow more waste gas to be puled from the engine. They are efficent enough that on cmy747's VL with a 700 roller and 1.06 rear housing, that we get 19psi of boost with a 7psi spring in the turbosmart gate, and he ha run a 1.68 60 foot just using the foot brake and low boost on his second pass ever, they come on extreemly fast, a lot faster than most other manifolds. The benifit to being good at scavenging, is that you can use the 1 1/4" steam pipe and not 1 1/2 like other do, ad not sacrifice any top end with big bottom end gains. Hope this helps. Anyway, this isn't intended to be a for sale thread, you can pm me if you want to know anything else. Man there is some traffic on here during the day, is everyone at a desk job wasting time at work huh??? 6BOOST Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
