Hey guys, does anyone have any pics or info on Rhys Mason's VL?? Its the green one with the aero kit that won HP heros.. This thing makes over 600rwhp, yet I haven't seen much about it.

even though it makes decent rwhp its not really that fast down the qtr,he raced a turbocharged cortina on the federal highway during the nats, the car that came 2nd to him in the horse power heroes and absolutley got drilled in 2 runs during a rolling start....good day.

Yes, there is a big difference between power and speed, there are VL's running around with 280-300rwkw running low 10's, and others with 600rwhp running high 10's. Apart from the shear impossibilty of putting that power down on the street aven on slicks, I think its anual and just setup for big numbers on the dyno more than anything, otherwise it'd be running low 9's like other similarly powered vl's. As far as I know(???), its a 3 litre bottom end with 26 head, twin GT28/30 turbo's of around 400hp region, water to air cooler with ice tank, R33 5 speed, and runs in the vecinity of 30psi of boost. Should be an interetsing vehicle if he ever changes to auto and sets it up for racing with that power however Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Its on the new 'power cruise dvd' making 720rwhp ish I think...It was definately over 700rwhp. I would imagine traction to be an issue.... Has anyone seen that DVD or go to that power cruise show/meet? Some crazy ****!

LOL You wouldn't put a kit on a pure drag car either... Nah it's just a nice cruiser with ****loads of power.. awesome work Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hmmm, so you can put a 3 litre RB30 crank, into an RB26 block?? I've never heard of this before, why aren't more GTR guys doing this instead of the hassle of dropping a RB30 block in their cars, with the amount of hassle in adaptng the 4WD sump and diff, if it were as simple as using just the crank?? Any links to info on this mod? 6BOOST
