The weekend just gone, i was in frankston both friday and saturday nights. The first night i was cruzing with a mate in his vl and got pulled up by the cops, his car had just been through the raod worthy test so it was to be pretty good.. anyway the hand break is only alound to have somthign like 6 clicks before seen as unroadworthy, he got pulled up on that and then another minor thing they ended up giving him a canary for it. Then Sat night was down in same area again with my mate and he endedup getting a canary as well for being to low... Also that night just out side of 21 there were coppers going around the car parks with their little messuring thing going under cars cheacking their hights and other little things. In other words im just trying to warn you guys and letting you know to play it safe in frankston at the moment while things settle down

this is what upsets me alot. why are you guys LETTING cops do you over for so called HAND BRAKE CLICKS ?? ? you show me one piece of paper which says how many clicks a handbrake must have before deemed unroadworthy - the LAW states, that once the handbrake is engaged the car must NOT be able to move. that is the law - not crap clicks

I got done doing 131km/h last night. In a 110 zone. Copper goes yeah its quite a big hill isnt it, you get a fair bit of speed on it I noticed you braked at the bottom of the hill when you noticed your speed. So just concentrate a bit more alright. And wheres your P plates ? "Oh its a work car mate the other bloke that drives it always throws em out I will get some at the next servo" "Righto mate, take it easy" Woot woot

Yeah thats the way it should be... you know you were in the wrong and weren't smart about it.. and the copper acted like a half reasonable sort of preson.. good to see Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

No matter where you are the long weekend is Police blitz time. They were everywhere over the weekend. This is mainly for people who are stupid enough to drive home drunk. They catch hundreds of people in Melbourne every long weekend. If they cant get you for that maybe you qualify for a special prize, which if your eligiable is placed proudly on the passenger side of your windscreen. The moral of this story if your vehicle is not stock try and keep of the road come long weekends.
