Ok well finally got around to making the brackets and this is the end result now the remaining sound deadener can be removed then primed up ready for paint..
Was a few very tense moments involved with actually getting the car up that high but everything turned out awesome
As you can see in the last photo thats why its being painted

12-06-05, 18:12 GMT+10#13 if u wanna paint the bottom of the car properly everything needs to come out, kframe fuel lines brake lines etc...
Then all the sound deadener needs to come off, then it needs to be wire brushed all over
It s not gunna be tar balck either

13-06-05, 00:51 GMT+10#20 Looks good dude. You got a fun fun time ahead of you.......trust me....been there done that.
Are you putting car stands back underneth the jacking points to support abit of the weight when you leave it overnight ect? Your cage would stiffen up the chassis quite abit though it still might be an idea.
I mounted mine very similar to how you did, with the boot I ran another reinforcing bar from the inside where the back bumper bolts to the top of each strut, and with the front to the mounting points on the chassis rail of the front bar and then another piece to the underside of the chassis rail where the K-Frame bolts.
Another tip that will make your job alot easier would be one of those supacheap sandblasters, helps to get in all the hard to get places where a wire brush wheel wont........ although you still have your glass and doors on where I didnt so mightent be the best idea. The **** gets everywhere.
Anyways looks good, keep us updated and if you need any info drop me a PM.
Cheers.
