hey guys, i have the chance to buy a great car, its an import but its not a ricer, its probably in the same class as the cressidas would be looks wise(maybe a bit uglier). the car comes stock with the 1989 300ZX (single turbo) yes single turbo engine. Car is bog stock as it came out of factory, and is luxury to the MAX! everythings electric and computer controlled, u can even adjust the rear seats with a remote and all dat fancy ****, not bad for a car from 1989. its quite the sleeper... cant see anyone getting pulled over in that lol
engine bay and everything is set out exactley the same as on the 300's and offer pretty much the same amount of bonnet space, what i want to know is because the engine is a single turbo engine does this mean there will be more space for a larger turbo? as the 300 arnt the biggest things, and i wouldnt mind something to the equivilant to a t03 or t04.
any other info on what would restrict me getting power out of the engine would be appreciated as well as i dont know too much about 300's
u should be able to stick a bigger snail there... but ive heard the 300zx's have a c|_|nt of an engine bay, so it may not be possible.. depending where the turbo is but generally most single turbo setups on the v engines seem to put it on the side, like close to where the battery normally sits.. in which case u should have a bit of room to play with
take out the engine and drop in one of the straight sixes in it like the rb25, 26 and or even the rb30. seen one with the rb26 in it and it seemed to have pleanty of room.
