hey guys, my mate has a magna, and hes recentley bought 17 x 7 rims, and everyones telling him he cant fit tyres onto them for a magna? to me this sounds a little wrong why would they sell rims u cant fit tyres on? wouldnt u be able to fit 215's or 225's on? one guy said the tyres would be too thin to get roadworthy? it made me think w.t.f size tyres did magnas come out with 435 or something!!!!! i just dont get it? can someone tell me if tyres can be found for rims this size and if there is anything dodgy about it, the rims fit the car, its the correct offset and everything but i dont see how its unroadworthy or how no one can find tyres? thanks

Mate what model is the magna? My old girl had a 1999 magna with 17" 235's on it. Unless your talking about an earlier model.

225/45R17 should be right.. or as mick said, depending on model, maybe 235/45R17

acutally seeing as though they are 17x7 run a 225/45R17 or a 215/45R17

its a 1998 magna i think its the newish shaped ones, i dont get why ppl are telling him he cant fit tyres on and the ones that arnt saying that are saying the 225 or 235's wont be able to take the weight of the car cause there 17 x 7??
