why dont you get a turbo? much easier to find. and cheaper on fuel.

It's got more inches and it sounds wicked? :P Personally I hate any bent engine... Inline or opposing all the way!

yeah go the 8.. however for some reason VL's just dont suit V8's in my opinon

mate had a full hdt kitted(can't remember which 'group' it was, 3, i think) vl calais 8. 355 stroker under the bonnet (lots of internal work), high stall, worked auto, full aftermarket fuel system, huge thermos, lotsa chrome under the bonnet , extractors, 3in exhaust, 1 muffler and dumped on its tits. Ate fuel like a biatch, but my GOD it was a beast to drive!! Instant torque and happily reved around to 8 grand with no problems (even though 8's dont like being around there it could still happily do it) if i had the funds when he had sold it, i would of brought it on the spot. I luuurrrrrve me v8's always have, always will... but i luuurrrrve turbo's to... mmmmm maybe a turbo v8 next...?? LOL ush Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

damn that black one looks tuff as, but see how the others paint/interior are done?? You would almost expect a turbo to be under the bonnett with those sorts of colour schemes!

My old mans thinking of get a VLCV8 im going to try and swap him with my SL . Gotta love the VL V8s. Dont see many VL V8s in good nick these days which is why I want one instead of a Turbo. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
