It should cost you no more than 30bucks to have it done properly... Just take it to the auto leccy adn say ive blow the high beam fuse a few times can you wire up a new in line fuse holder for me, and tehy will have it done in about 30mins... You'll never get it fixed unless you are an auto electrician... So dont even bother trying yourself otherwise its just gonna cost you more in the long run. Get it doen properly the first time.

its only wiring, its not hard. just don't use the wrong wiring, other wise it will be melt down country, high beams draw a **** load of current.

Yeah I took mine to a mate who is an auto electrician and he said he had rewired his old VL and the lights were 100x better so he did it to mine and he was right they are awesome + i have new lights so the reflecters are in good nick. What he did was put in a circuit breaker and seperate relays for high and low beam and bring the volts straight from the +ve battary battery terminal so that the original fuse is needed to make a circuit but is drawing next to no current so it never melts and now the lights are getting all the power they need and i've got to admit i was extremly surprised at how much better they are
