Hi im after some info on Pavtek RB30ET rebuilt longs motors, anyone used one or know of people using them, im thinking of buying fully rebuilt one Head and bottom end, and getting it put in allong with a few other bits and piece's, i would just like more info on them and any dramas people have had.

So has anyone ever had an engine built by them? I want to know if they are any good. The prices seem pretty good.

i dont think thats for an rb30et man. look at the comp ratio.

how did you figure out those specs are for the rb30et? it doesnt say it anywhere, VLTs have a standard CR of 7:8:1 not 9:7:1 which is stated there. i seriously doubt those are the specs for an rb30et rebuild.

haha so they downgrade to roller rockers, pushrods and a timing chain when they rebuild your RB30?

In their parts pedders ad it has in small text "ring for info on different parts and prices for the rb30" or some shiit like that - so ring them and see whats the go Daz

Yeah amazing isn't it as I said in a post a bit earlier.. Thats all I know about them. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

My mate runs a RB30 See project "BlueJet" in turbo readers rides built by them, perfect engine no dramas the only thing he has problems with is finding a decent turbo specialist that can build a turbo that will last.
