in the vl V8's (304's) wat manual gearbox come with them? im sellin my vlt and want a vl V8.

only the walkies and HDTs came in manual... the rest were trimatics, so unless you after a collectors item you'll be up for a manual conversion.

Yeah cuz i was thinkin i hav never seen a manual v8 vl except 4 the walkies. r the Trimatics allright? not like the vl auto's?

here we go this debate again... i'll just say that i'm not a fan of the humble trimatic and leave it there, but does that worry you anyway? you want a manual? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I don't mind the good 'ol Trispastic, **cough cough**, I mean, Trimatic..... Have them built the right way with the right parts and they're a good box. Although you're in QLD I'd recommend you contact "transman", he is KEAS Transmissions here in Vicrtoria. Paul shift kitted my Trimatic and after spending most of the day with him I realised that what he doesn't know about autos just aint worth knowing, and I wouldn't let anyone else touch my auto.

When i bought my 5lt VL a manual conversion had already been done, they used a supra box, when i took it to the pits to get the sticker off they passed the box change at the same time not a drama

$2000 is ripped for a G, i got mine for $1200... dunno why people love 'em so much they're weaker than the later t-5s... damn needle rollers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
