hi, having a bad time trying to remove the rod that connects from the outside handle to the door lock, got everything unbolted and loose, can see some small clip holding the threaded rod swivel into the lock arm, tight space against door metal, cant see how to unclip it, any help appreciated. there's also another clip around the rod hanging loose, probably anti-rattle from handle end?

lol!! was pushing a piece of plastic mirror up between the swivel and sheet metal to get a look at it and the pressure of the mirror against the swivel end made it pop out!! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Just for future reference, we use a long flat head screw driver on the newer commodores at work (vt-vys, haven't had to do a vz yet) they are a bit of stuffing around, but a bit of patience will get them right out.
