hey guys.... just wondering, are u able to drive a VS clubsport or similar on your P's? I'm not looking, but id like one at some stage. Nothing does it more for me than the sound of a grunty V8 flying past ya... so id like to be the guy driving it one day anyways... i know its a pretty useless thread but any help would be great guys. Cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Depends on the laws in your state, I know in WA there isn't really too many restrictions but some states only allow up to V6s etc Someone may know about VIC Cheers

no you can't........ the only 308/304 V8's you can drive in Victoria is... VQ - VS Statesman VT 304 V8's No LS1's.... all fail capacity to weight, but most pass power to weight. That means techically any VB - VS 308/304 is illegal to drive (apart from Statey's as they weigh more) Having said that I've never been pinged. It's only a $138 if you get caught, and no points...

It's only a $138 if you get caught, and no points... if your going by that giant list vicroads produced late last year were they banned most v8's you can forget that, theyre not bringing it in too many p-platers have v8's they cant force them to sell up, and with the list it wasnt a ban on p-platers driving them it was a ban on them registering under there name, too many ways of getting around it so they couldnt be ***t.it they tried to bring it in after that horrible crash near chapel street, with the black r-33 skyline but as for power to weight arnt clubbys like 1500kg?meaning u could drive it with as long as it was around 190kw?

I don't know if that does happen... But it wouldn't surprise me at all.
