Hey all, Great Turn out last night with Ten VLs on the crusie. Good meeting new people and see the different things people have done to there VL's Oh and VK's Over all a good run. Prehaps next time it could be run earlier in the day and more driving then siting at car parks. Hopefully someone will post up the pic's. Anyways good effort by all and hope too see you all again for the Next cruise. The pink thing was crazy when it lost it OH yeah for all who wanted to know. I gave Yellow Terror a REMATCH and WON by a CAR LENGHT! Thats with low boost and fuel and exhaust restrictions. AND FOR THOSES who SAID MY BURN OUT WAS S HIT GO F UCK YA SELF. Im Runnng in an 6 thousand dollar engine....but anyway.. sorry about the lanuage but it had to be said. Catch.. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey man, I wish I had been there, I ended up waiting in the wrong carpark for an hour, got there ten minutes early too! I was in the one opposite macca's, not diagonally opposite, there was a sign that said ergon staff only so I thought i had it right.. I was looking forward to it heaps aswell. Glad the cruise went well though, hopefully there will be another one soon and I will get the meeting place right . lol, here is a photo of my car while I was waiting in the carpark Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

well, my car is half VL. haha. I took some photos, but they all turned out crap. My camera can't take nite shots very well. As for the burn outs, i thought they were all good no complants here Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I would just like to thank everyone that turned up for coming, I personally had a really good night and I hope we can all get together again soon and do it again. I agree with brentin and reckon that we should done abit more crusing and abit less parking but on the whole everything went smoothly with no pigs giving us dramas. Brentin your skid was mad! By far the fastest car on the cruise as you proved, time and time again. Ed good to see the calais clean for once and with some nice shiny rims, i guess i can let you off though as it is your work hack. Steven thanks for letting me drive your rig around, stereo goes off! Pastical your vk is smick as and i love the conversion. Phatvl whyd you leave so early??? Todd vlt20 is still the nicest looking vl in townsville! Cam thanks for getting your car ready for the cruise, can't wait to see it with a turbo hanging off the side. Matt nice skid but you shoulda given those tyres the death they deserved - "pop" pink vl practise your drifting! Yellow Terror thanks for providing some entertainment later in the night, you'll definatly have to come to the next cruise. Next cruise im thinking we should do an rb cruise, that way we can bring some skylines along for the ride and show em what that .5 of a litre is all about!!! DOHC cr@p meh... and I can also bring the torana. There should be abit bigger turnout next time with at least 3 other vl's I know of due for completion and also people like rb30X (tim), Ben_I_CAN'T_FIND_THE_RIGHT_CARPARK_VL (ben), and slack bitch (kayleen). Might even push 20 vl's for the next cruise, lets make that the aim neways. About the pics, i've gotta get em off b-rad but I should be able to have em up by mid week. Dean

yeah it was a mad cruise, pity we didnt all stick together a bit better i agree we should have cruised around more too... B-rads mags made my calais look a hundred times better. Maybe his VL will be going for the next one, if he buys some new tyres and gets a rwc. Good turnout but I definitly think we can get more cars. Foney at least you did a skid... Ed

I think everyone there had an appreication for nice cars and seeing one do a skid would have made most peoples night, i know it made mine. Yeah I reckon you should keep it aswell. On older holden forums, everyone has a story to tell about the car they had that was mad n fast but they sold and have regretted it everyday since, i say learn from their mistakes. But yeah in the end its up to you. vlt20 - even though it cost abit it is still nicest! Even though vls look fine without a kit, todds kit is how I would do a vl, and with plans of a 25 conversion it'll be even nicer then. How many of yous are up for crusing to ingham together? Dean
