hmmm, the injection manifold is def VN type and it's not bolted down? You've got rockers so the heads could be decent but the engine will obviously need to be pulled down. It's certainly not a Walky - not a chance! It's also had Air Con at some stage as it still has the bracket above the alternator.....
There's a lot of work there!

would make a good project if the rest of the running gear was hald decent..

wasn't there a black walky getting around here 3 or 4 yrs back with a tuff twin-throt 355 in it and i think i remember it having a gilmer drive too... could be a stolen recovery of that

07-05-05, 20:28 GMT+10#12 No such thing as a factory black walky, that was the vn group a that there were 2 black ones...
few walkys have been changed to black... The one in WA used to be BATMOBILE, but that was sold and is TWR SV, which I haven't seen for a few years....
The 2nd last pic shows a bluild plate near the brake booster. That is where walkys did have build plate....

You're looking at the black Batmobile and it's is for sale again.
Obviously a stolen recovered job.
Wonder if the interior is intact.
So whats the history of the black Batmobile, build no etc?

08-05-05, 11:27 GMT+10#19 so it must be a genuine walky then?
also, i think pickles would not state that its a group A SS if it wasnt. they once advertised a vl exec as a calais turbo. looked exactly like on but comp plates said exec so it was withdrawn from the auction and then put back up the next week as a turbo executive.
my point is, they must give a true description of the car.
i believe i will go and do some bidding!!!
