Can Anyone Tell Me Why My Fuel Pump Makes Gurgling Noises. Is It Sucking In Air Somewhere Or What.ive Checked Fuel Hoses With The Ignition On And Its Pumping.i Tried Putting More Gas In Thinking My Guage Was Wrong Or Something But That Didn't Work. Any Help Much Appreciated.

The gurgling you can hear is the internal fuel pump (lifter pump) trying to suck the filter basket into the pump. If you replace it with a new one it will stop, the new pumps have a spring inside the basket to stop this.

yeah but if you dont fix it when its working what happens. Your on a cruise or simply going to work when it dies not to mention beeing out in the middle of whop whop its sunday and you carnt get one till tommorro or whatever the story if you got the time and money replace it. And for that matter the same with everything on your car fix it before your on the side of the road saying you piece of shuit. More piece of mind if your worried then fix it.

i can here mine if i turn the car onto accesory and wait about 5 secs when the fuel is real low, but apart from that i cant ever. Thats on both my cars btw, im with Memnoch, im waiting for mine to blow then il fit a bigger and better item, thats the way i like to work with my cars, turn every bad experience ie something breaking into a good one!
