my brother just called me.
his calais was stolen from his WOOLWORTHS car park in MARGATE Redcliffe.
it is white with vt(?) 16" clubsport mags. tinted windows.
REGO 802 GHN QLD of course
it was stolen in the last three hours
anyone see this or nows anything call me on [phone removed].
all leads will be handled anonymously.
car has some modified parts on it.
t3/4 hybrid
ARE 'cooler
stage1 BOV dunno what brand
this car id easy to spot as it has a few trim parts missing as well. the most notable being the moulding on the left front guard missing and a small abundance of white tape holding the left headlight lid in place.
you couldnt miss this car for the noise it makes because it runs a 3" system with gutted cat and 0 mufflers. very loud.
was a ****box but it went hard and he still loved it no matter how embarrased he was about its looks.
that is so f ucked to hear man i was there just like half an hour ago sounds like it had the basic goods too man i will keep an eye out for it bro f uckin thieves i thought that carpark had security.
Fark, I used to park my Calais Turbo in the same car park for over a year while I worked a tthe servo!
I'll keep a close eye out, and 'ear' out on the weekend for dodgey pricks selling VL parts.
thanks guys
a mumbling about the caboolture area has reached our ears. which is good seeing its just about in my backyard.
but yeah....if you hear anything call me
**** man, sorry to hear bout it, yeah as everyone else says hope he gets it back, i got mine stolen on monday night while at tafe, such a ***ed feeling, good luck with it all
also i just read about that caboolture area, my car got spotted going towards there on the highway, maybe there picking up a few Vl's, with any luck we may get ours back
my brother called me last nite and said the cops had his car. they have had it in their compund for a few months now. still the same colour, different interior and wheels. it did have an auto in it, now has a manual. apparently it had an rd25/30 engine in it, but they found the owner of that motor. no one off here?? he's going to see it on monday and hopefully bring it home.
its been 16 months since it was stolen so theres hope out there for all who have had their car stolen.
yeah i think so. i reckon it was a bitsa. bitsa this car, bitsa that car
just spoke to him again and it was a complete rb25 motor not the rb25/30. so he is starting to look for and rb25 to drop into it.
talk about a change of luck

Hey guys,
This car was originally mine and noname's brother bought it from me - went with him today to look at the car - very sad sight but the upside is we know it was rebirthed - had the plates 316 JIG on it and a rego sticker to match. They had ground the id number off the top of the left hand suspension tower and re-stamped it.
The engine that was in it was an RB20 with a 5 speed box - pointless conversion and borders on blasphemy ! - however the fact that the police siezed a number of VL's and Skylines all relating to this - then perhaps the motor will show up in the photo's the police have yet to take of the other cars involved.
They had taken most of the gear off and replaced with other parts - even down to the motorsport fuel pump. They had obviously tried to cover their tracks - the blue velour series one interior was replaced with a beige velour series two interior.
It had white simmons wheels - mesh kinda look - V5's I think?
The car had a spray of some type of blue pearl over the white - at least some of imperfections in the paint were fixed ! - the front bumper was re-sprayed in silver.
The ARE cooler was gone - some smaller bar and plate type in its place that is now sitting with the RB20 on a pallet in front of the car.
The officer agreed a civil suit against these f**kwits might be pointless in recouping losses - but it means the names will be known and perhaps shed light on a few things.

Don't speak to soon ! - he's trying to get the car back with the interior in it however the word is that if they find the owner he may not keep it - although cant imagine it'd be easy to identify stuff like that. I think they found the owner of the motor which is why it is sitting on a pallet now.
