Bought my now pride and joy in Janruary '05 and was nothing but a stripped shell.I was lucky to score a decent interior (All beige with Tacho dash). Took about 3months on and off to get a RB30 + MF5 gearbox into her, diff, seats, electrics, suspension and a whole heap of other fiddly stuff! At the end of the 3months it was issued a roadworthy and now shes a registered NA VL BT1 on the roads of Northern Brissie! Yay! List of modifications include: Lowest of the pedders suspension range in the rear (coil spring + shocks), Low king springs in the fronts with standard struts, extractors and 15" pursuit rims. Im very proud of what I have now as shes a decent daily driver/cruiser but shes still got those little things that need doing to get her to my near perfection stage. This includes: Chrome centre caps and chrome wheel nuts, lowest springs in the pedders range for the fronts and a 2 1/2" exhaust with decent looking but subtle chrome tip. From a dirty VL Shell sitting in a paddock to this: Im very happy to be a VL owner once again! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
