I've got official info. Seen the poster on Friday.
There is no meeting place that we leave from.
Only the final destination meeting point which is Albion Park Airport.
Instead of taking the first exit of Mt. Ousley Rd that takes you to that big roundabout, you stay on the freeway until you reach Albion Park. This then becomes Princes Hwy, you veer left staying on the Princes Hwy when you reach the Illawarra Hwy intersection and you're about 500 mtrs from the meeting point.
ANZAC Day, Monday 25 April 2005
The organisers will have BBQs, kids playing area, and plenty of photographers, so it looks like it will be a huge day. Remember this is a charity cruise which brings out the best in cars kept in garages for months or years.
It's your choice what you want to do after this, but I know I won't be hooning around anywhere else. This place seems safe and fun and I guess that they'll be selling the stickers at the meeting point for added leniency if desperate.
Just a note: the sticker doesn't buy you immunity from the police. You muck around on the streets, you'll get caught!
As for the airport, I'm guessing they're closing it down for racing down the runway like the USA.
Should be good, I can't wait!

07-12-04, 20:07 GMT+10#13 Gettin the banners up early this year John!, nice one too!. I wasnt happy i missed last years , so i put a leave form in on anzac day last year for this one lol. So i dont have to worry about work, just have to hope the car behaves between now and then!.

Well the i wont be coming in my car becasue i wont have a licence i dont think. I loose it from 22nd jan - apr 23rd. I cant remember what date ANZAC day is. Someone please tell me its after the 23rd! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!
