Maybe wiring terminals on the fuel pump under the car. It's happened to me before. Just check all connections. There will be a bad/corroded or lose electrical connector. Good luck.

Check the ignition wiring on the computer. I have MT-8 that has the same problem and I know 100% it's a ignition wire that is almost coming out of the socket that is causing it.

maybe a wriggly wire in the harness some where, weather it be to the engine bay or to the fuel pump, process of elimination.

Mate first thing is first, have you got a tacho, if not note what speed your doing if you do have a tacho check to see if your revs are going no further than 2000 to 2500 rpm or your tacho depress your accelerator slowly untill you reach 60kmh on a straight road then try to exceed 60kmh after that, if it doesn't do that mate you have a faulty AFM gauranteed, undo your AFM and check the wire(s) to see if it/they have snapped, if so time to replace mate. I have had that happen to me twice in a Nissan Skyline R31 with the RB30 motor and a VL my current car. you put your foot into it tho it won't give you an accurate reading. Also you will be able to get home if you konk out just keep revs below 2000rpm and you will be right. Cheers

have a look at the wires clipped to the dizzy, I had the same problem and it turned out to be a wire that had corroded and was barely touching, and over bumps and going up hills it would come away and turn the car to sh!t.
