Sunday 22nd May
This is a chance for the Sydney VL owners and the Newcastle VL owners to cruise and meet up at one common destination...TERRIGAL...and then when we are happy with moving on!!! hopefully at around 2.30pm we will leave there to cruise to Newcastle Foreshore (huge crusing spot about 100 - 300 cars there on sunday arvos!) to get there by 3.00pm to get some parking!
Meeting point from Sydney will be at Homebush P6 carpark, get there at 10:00am to leave by 10:30am SHARP. Carpark location is on Australia Ave, sydney olympic park, homebush bay. (cnr of herb elliott av, park st and australia ave. Basically coming from Homebush bay drv, go left onto australia ave, past the hilled grass area ,i think has the olympic rings on it) and underneath the bridge. It is almost in front of the Olympic Park train station. It is the carpark closest to the road on Australia Ave. The Sydney people will meet with Newcastle people at the Tuggerah Westfield Shopping Centre (top Level parking over the centre) by around 12.00pm.
Meeting point for Newcastle people will be at the Twin Shell Servos at Wallsend just at the start of Link Road at in between 11:00am to leave by 11.30 SHARP, who will meet up with the Sydney people at the Tuggerah McDonalds by around 12.00pm.
If your from the Central Coast meet up with both groups at Tuggerah McDonalds by around 12.00pm.
Travelling time is about 1.5 - 2 hours for the Sydney people to Tuggerah Westfield Shopping Centre and then another 20mins to 30 mins to Terrigal. Then about 30 - 40 mins to Newcastle from Terrigal. Newcastle people traveling time is about 30-40mins to Tuggerah Westfield Shopping Centre! Times are as above from place to place.
Bring CB's along to, if any1 has any!!
Please remember to have a FULL tank of fuel!
Cheers

25-04-05, 18:03 GMT+10#13 like i said to sam .. should wait and see what everyone wants to do first.. if people arent happy about the destination theres no point whinging about it. it has to be somewhere that both syd and newy people are happy with. no point in havin a go at the sydney people that dont really want to drive for 6 hours, people make up their own mind if they want to go or not, and if the majority of the sydney people arent happy then the destination will have to be changed, i know that i wont be driving 6 hours if its not going to be a good turnout from the rest of the syd people.

25-04-05, 18:54 GMT+10#15 Not everyone here has a full licence chaser, u have to remember some of us are still p platers and are sitting on 4 - 1 points. So theres no way in speeding down there. 3 hrs to get there + 3 hrs to drive back is 6 hrs, thats half the bloody day.....

I'm only on my Greenies now.
But I went up there back in november when I was on my red P's, with 1 point on my license.
The fastest I went was 150km/h plus it was dead, no traffic.
But then again.. I was an idiot, looking back.

I guess I didn't think of it that way.. so yeah, thats quite a hefty trek for one day, would prefer to stay up there and come back next day.

25-04-05, 20:31 GMT+10#20 like i said sam people will make up their own minds whether they want to or not, no point in crying about it, it wont make any difference. i dont mind going to shoal bay but only if there is a good turn out from other sydney people.
