Can anyone out there confirm that the early batch of Walkinshaws produced came with Yella Terra roller rockers? I have been told that it was only after a supply shortage that they switched to Crane items. Has anyone had a look in the oil cap hole in the rocker covers to see what brand their Walky has? I have only see Crane items.

Mine has yella terra, maybe they just used whatever was cheaper/available at the time of production.

I thought it was the opposite. Mine is no. 37 and has Crane roller rockers, where I have a few mates which are numbered in the 400 and 500's and they have Yella Terra.

Sunroof would 99% be from a dealer, or after being sold. I only know of 1 walky, that came with a sunroof from the factory. As for the white rims, prolly someone painted them, or they came off something like a VN SV 91. Quite a few cars, after the walky had walky rims. All 3 VL HSV's (walky, SV88 and F20), had them, and some VN's, and a few VP's or VG ute's had them also. Yeah i asked HSV couple years ago and they told me no Walkys came with sunroofs from the factory and same about white wheels.Every sunroofed Walky i've come across have different switches so my theory was they were dealer optioned.

There was 1 that was factory fitted. Corsa would be better to tell the history, but it also has filled in C pillar moulds, leather interior with rear headrests, engine mods and EMS computer. It's the same car thats in the block mount pic of the walky that is pretty popular.

I remember years ago seeing one for sale in unique cars, it had the c-pillar filled in. A dealership had it. this is like 1995 or something like that.

The car with the filled in C pillars, Momo Star rims, Engine mods, Leather Interior and Sunroof fitted at HSV's factory (and a few other bonus features as well) is not a prototype car but rather a car that was optioned for a special customer. Some of these features were requested by the Customer and others were just on the car when it was deleivered. Corsa
