I want to buy a motor for my 260z running on straight gas. I was thinking of the 330hp vortec motor from Eagle. Does anyone know of the changes (if any) i will need to make to this engine to get it to run as much power as possible on straight gas. Should i install the voodoo cam stage 1,2,3? Will i need a different manifold? Any help would be appreciated. Graedat

yeah the vortecs are nice engine, i used to be full on about putting one into my vc, but the cost of the conversion blows out the balance imo of just doing up a holden... tho the chev aftermarket is so farking good. Anyway most of it is all ready to go, the gas TBs will bolt onto the stock manifold and the heads and all will run fine. The voodoo cam will be good as they're made specially for it but that doesnt mean its the only cam u can use, wade, come racing, even surecam can make good lpg cams. One important thing with gas is u need good spark so focus on a good msd or crane ignition too
