Hey, Here is my Calais story.... Started with this about 3 years ago.... Series 2 88 Calais N/A 5 speed manual. Spen lots a $$$ on getting in the way I wanted. Unfortunately whilst driving home after work someone decided to look the other way and forgot to apply her brakes.... 70km/h, .5sec lock up, and bang! All over red rover. Got Insurance back baught a VS Berlina, but always wanted another VL Calais, 2 weeks ago I went and got me another 88 Series 2 N/A Calais to play with. Currently doing some minor changes will update as I go. Some feedback would be nice..... Wish list for future include.... Splits front n rear, 2 x 10inch MTX 5000, custom box and boot install, Amps, Cap, Monitors in head rests, and dash. Restore interior ( no major problems VGC inside) Remove rear muffler, add extractors, Cold Air Intake 4AGZE Supercharger, cooler, BOV (see how it goes)... 5 Speed Manual if auto does not hold up Cheers. thats a nasty hit looks like it woulda been as nice calais too, new one looks good but you shoulda kept the sunroof off the old one :P
