Hey guys, I'm going overseas in August and will most likely have to sell my baby before I go I probly need to hang on to it until closer to the date i leave but i thought id post up some info about the car to see if any interest is sparked. A lot of blood, sweat and tears come free with the car haha I'll have some photos up in the near future. Right now im just interested to see what sort of offers anyone has... 88 Exec Series 2 Silver Auto 248,000 ks (serviced every 5,000) Custom Grey Velour interior in excellent condition Pioneer Head Unit with Pioneer front 6"s and Clarion 6"s in the custom parcel shelf (sounds awesome only needs a sub, i have one in the car but wont be selling it most likely)and a 6 CD Stacker mounted in the boot Specometer Tacho 15" VP SS Rims with brand new tyres (about 1 month old!) Tinted windows all round Calais Taillights with debadged silver garnish Sports Steering Wheel Air Con (needs re-gas) ------ Off the top of my head, this is the engine work that has been done in the year and a few months ive owned it Recoed and shaved head CAI + panel filter 6-2-1 Extractors into 2.5" Mandrel Bent exhaust from the cat back, 3.5" dump (turns plenty of heads) Recoed EFI (all injectors tested, 100% perfect results have proof) New CAS, Ignition coil, Cold Start Valve, Idle Sensor, AFM, Dizzy Module(soon)... basically all to most of the consumable VL parts I have replaced. Recoed and reset ECU A lot of wiring work has been done (as you prob know the electrics in VL's are ****house) New Rear brakes on both sides New Bendix Ultimate pads on the front (Vented Front Discs in EC) Theres plenty of other stuff i cant remember off the top of my head, ill add it on later. From what im told the engine is still going very strong but the transmission might need some attention soon. Still shifts ok but slips a bit in 2nd gear. When the head was off i had my mechanic check out all the internals to see if i should replace/repair/clean anything else while it was off, but everything is still in good nick. For its age this car has been very well maintained. Would be a great first car, has an excellent interior, great stereo, new brakes, most of the usual '2nd hand VL work' has already been done, good paint and a nice set of rims so it has a bit of show and some go (for an N/A ). Its an awesome cruiser that can scare a few people if you give it a squirt aswell. At this point in time ill put the price at 4-4500, the car doesnt need to be sold for a couple of months so obviously im open to all offers. Send me a pm, post a q here etc.. and ill get back to you. Ill try and get some pics up asap Cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
