got an old ****ter carby 350.. made 196kw at the wheels with tiny hydraulic cam. 010 block, freshened crank, beam polished x rods, flat top pistons, 10.1:1 comp, fuelly head, heavily ported, victor junior manifold, 750dp holly, holly blue pump, 1/2 inch fuel lines, twin 2 1/2 inch system..
im gonna put my new cam in soon, should honestly pick me up 20-30kw at the wheels as everything is big except the cam.. 244 solid should do the job
will the 286 cam make that much power in the 304?
cheers
Kane

yeah I was thinking along similar lines, seems like a good output for a 286 cam, however he does have a new engine with all those funny looking wires and **** coming out from them!

10-04-05, 09:57 GMT+10#13 Not to sure of what it will be makeing but hopeing for 450hp fwhp.
I'm useing the following.
scat h-beam rods,
Harrop 3.48 crank
srp pistons
yt shaft mount rr's
vn groupa 4 bolt main block
come twin t/b
depends on the funds but either cast heads flowed to 500hp or yt dash 9's
10-1 comp ratio
Wade custom cam, competiton pacey's twin cat 3" mandrell system.
All going in a vp clubby.
I guess all this depends on how good the engine tuner is.
