Hey guys, im after a vh sle, preferably 202, and also preferably series I... I'm not after a show car, but something relatively clean... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

no such thing as series in VH... but there was different builds... can tell by VIN AVH BVH CVH you can obviously tell which was earliest - latest. trip comp, cruise and VH SL/E rims were all available in any VH SL/E 'series' as an option.....

Give the guy a break what he means is the early model VH SLEs with the single tone paint. Early SLEs also had two tone seats the velour on the seat was darker than the rear of the seat.. The difference in VIN numbers were also known as series I and IIs..

just trying to help him out.... and no, they weren't sold officially as series 1 or 2....... but it doesn't matter... cause VH SL/E is easily one of the best commo's out there model wise...!

Well. i've always known them to be series 1 or series 2... Series 1, was only one colour all over, series two were "shadow tone" Series 1 came out with VB sle rims, whereas series 2 came out with what everyone knows as VH sle rims.. Thats why u see some VH's with VB sle's on them... There are also many other differences between the two.

It doesn't matter what they're called by Holden - calling them series 1 and 2 is just an easy way to refer to different age models. Just like people talk about series 1 RX2's and series 2 etc, when they never changed name from Mazda. Good luck finding your car man.
