bro sounds like a nice car the price isnt unreasonable if its as good as it sounds you should get it or close to it and i think everyone stating "oh bt1's have been thrashed" is getting old this engines been rebuilt along with other things done up calais or done up bt1...... you dont work them to drive it soft good luck with sale

Mate, your Damm well Right! Considering I own a n/a BT-1 and after the Police have "Thrashed it" she has done 140,000Km's, she is wait for it, wait for it "sik.vlt", running perfectly! Only had to re-build the gear-box so far after having her for a few years now. I have spent $22,000 on my BT-1 n/a, and had her for 2 and 1/2 yrs exactly (Purchased her when I was 17). excluding the buying price of 4 and a 1/2, and although a lot of that money has been spent, it has been on the interior replacement, the gearbox, exhaust, extractors, complete re-wireing of dash, complete replacement of the 296mm corvette finned vl turbo brakes they come with from factory, $3,500 Sound System, a few Performance parts and the list goes on for about 2 more pages, lol , I am yet to take the head off, or re-place the pistons, or even touch the bottom end! So, sik.vlt, I think that is a washed out statement, have you even ever owned one sik.vlt?! This is a quality car, one in which someone has probably looked after. I've looked after mine, and If I was to theoretically sell mine, I'd want about; $7,500. And I think that is fair, with $22 G's Spent on her. Good Luck with the Sale amir, I am sure the BT-1 is well worth it with what you have said, even though it is non turbo like mine. You can still get good $'s for them. Thrashed? I never saw police doing doughnuts in the local parking lot. Police cars have quite a rigorous preventative maintenance schedule on them. No expense spared. Having worked with government fleets in the past I should know. Yes Police drive their car hard - but the cars are modified for that purpose. I'd be more comfortable buying a BT1 straight from the force than a VL stocker from a young bloke with P plates who maybe service theirs in a blue moon and pile their mates in the back for some burnouts at the local KMart carpark on Saturday nights. all-though, the Heading does bring in the bargin hunters, it promises a Cheap BT1, perhaps the title, "Vl Bt1 Auto For Sale, Fair Price for a Good Car!!!!" would suit better,

Dont worry mate, every for sale thread on these forums gets whored like **** and the moderators let it go I think the price isnt too bad considering the rebuild, but more importantly the RWC & Rego that comes with it... You see worked vl's go for sale for alot more without a RWC... then the buyer gets stooged having to pay ****loads to get a RWC. Things they dont look at like bushes, suspension etc...
