um, pioneer or kenwood i guess, both r good quality, wont cost too much either. if they're the right size and you can take the covers off you'll hav no prob putting any speaker in ur factory dash

I just got pioneer 4 inch. $140 from strathfield. They are splits and sound awsome. Really clear rich sound. And no holes in doors Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Correction. Pioneer speakers are not that good. Just blew up in ym car after a day. System wasn't on increadibly loud but was turned on fairly loud. ****in bull****. $140 down the drain. im gussing starthfield won't give me another pair even though i believe quality in those speakers was fairly ****house because of how easily they blew.

As i was saying. they were on but it wasn't really loud. Like my 6x9 and sub really wern't that loud. Gives me the ****s> Guy at strathfield was like you won't be able to blow these there really good. Im really spewin i think its only the right hand side thats gone. I'll be going for better speakers since they blow at what i consider is a fairly low volume.

I had the same problem but with 4" Dls 2 ways. The reason they would have blown is if you are running an amp you had the gain up too high for the front! what amp are you running?

4 way schneider amp which is running my 6x9's and 10' sub. Very strange. The day after it happened and i started the car in the morning the frount speakers are now working Only thing i can think of is i overheated something but ive had no problems since. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Read post above. Must have just got it in before yours. And no i did not get strathfield to install my system. Im a mechanic so i got my boss at work to install it for me. he did a great job and i learnt a lot out of it unlike a dodgy strathfield install. the speakers i have are pioneer TS-C1002 which are rated at 150w.

Ive got a set of Boston Accoustics 4"cx series in mine, they are a little deep for the space but you can get them to screw down and the grill just needs a little filing for the tweeter to fit under. The Boston Splits fit in with no dramas but there about $400 for the pair. Mine are super clear and you cant tell that there is anything quality under there caus there is no tweeter sticking out. with top end sound you get what you pay for, bass can be cheap but if you want clarity you have to spend the $$$

i just got some ts-e1070, these have a tweeter thats connected to the speaker whitch protrudes about 2cm from the speaker, so I was wondering do these speakers fit in the stock dash grill?

Jaycars new systems should be out now, they sound good, and a nice tweeter under there gives much needed symbol action to fill out Met-Reload and gives Justice to the trumps and Viloa in S&M
