a 3 point immobiliser is normally (not always) another part of an alarm system correct me if im wrong, coz i aint 100%. the immobiliser imobilises the car and the three point means it does it three ways, i think the most common ways are the fuel pump, ignition and sumfin else cant remember, so yer 3 points of your car, but yer i dont know why they would want you to have that.

3 points is like ignition, fuel and starter circuit i think. so it immobilises 3 things that get ur car running. 2 point would be ignition and fuel and so on.

LOL. contribution king. i think this thread has answered your question. one step further would be to pull the dash out and re-wire from the firewall and hide the wires so that a theif can't hotwire things he can't see.

Yeah its fuel, ignition and I am pretty sure you hook up the third point to one of the relays. What do you think of Vigil BTW, they quoted me more than most others, didn't see what was so good about them.

did u use petros's contact? i didn't! and i got quoted better then form the contact... by $400, im a p-plater with a 5ltr.... so, my insurance is high, no other insurance companies wanted to insure me because i wanted it on agreed vallue..... they all said "i can see how it could be worth that much, but we can only do market value", vigil was my last resort :\
