just wondering if any one has ever heard of a nissan 300sx if so send me a pic or info really need to find out thanx

there is no 300sx but there is a 300ZX, now thats a beast of a machine if only they didn't weight like 1800+kg's. Only things I can remember off the top of my head is that it has a VG30DETT engine. Only real down fall with these engines is they run bloody hot! If memory serves me correctly from adelaide jap wreckers the front cut was roughly 4500-5500 depending on auto/manual

lol not wrong. i reckon the best thing to do with the 300ZX is do away with the stock engine and drop a dirty big V8 in em! ****en hell they go like the clappers and the co0nversion is fairly simple, seen it done.

even if they wiegh 1.8T the twin turbo version dosent have a problem hauling its ass around.

hehe yea they have awesome torque figures(cant remember off the top of my head) but they were really torquey. But in a lighter vehicle I believe this engine would really haul ass(if you could keep traction) Let me know how u go Ive heard full on conversion for this with better turbo's is about 10-11k.

Nissan haven't produced one and i doubt they will cause people will become too confused between the 300ZX and a 300SX, but you never know Nissan is capable of anything.

Could put a 180sx front end on a 200sx rear... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

everyone im talkin about a 300sx not zx i saw one the other day its a 2oosx s15 body with a 3litre engine if n e one can find pics or n e other info that would be great thanx i have made a 10grand bet on it

Sure it wasn't an S15 with a VG30DETT or RB30DET squeezed into it? I've never heard of a 300sx, although google brings up plenty of references, but nothing to confirm it is a factory released model.

After looking about... There does appear to be a 300SX... But it's like it's a badge engineered 300ZX, used in races I'd say... Not really sure. Found an image though, but it's only tiny, cbf signing up to look at the full resolution image. But they do make brake parts for a 300SX, and they appear to be different to the ZX, not sure how... Just to clarify any confusion people may be having.. Siknos believes that there is a 'factory produced' Nissan 300sx, and that they are in the s14 and s15 shape and that he has seen a few around melbourne. He has wagered his vl turbo, as to how sure he is of this. I have searched, yahoo, google and nissansilvia.com and now this forum and no one seems to have been able to come up with a picture or even any information about this 'factory nissan 300sx'. I also asked a friend whos dad owns a Nissan dealership and he has never even heard of the 300sx.. Are you satisfied 'siknos' ? Nissan never produced a factory 300sx. Now wheres my 10 grand.. ?
