:Mates Car:
Last night during the rain, from between 12pm to 6am. My mates car, hes a baker and never has weekends off until last night, so he was pretty unlucky, if he had been working it wouldnt have happened.
With a full tank of petty it was nicked from the front of his house right next to the freeway (Doncaster rd) across the road from the donni park and ride(cruise clubs first usuall meet point)
Things to look out for
(distinguishing features)
The car is a champagne color, very dark tinted windows
Number plate QFW-000
Has a sunroof
And there is a negotiable reward for any information leading to the car being recovered
so please look out for it people, there is a photo here, as he attends all of the cc cruises

me and my mate drove around all day expecting to find a burnt out shell, then we decided to give up looking, we were on the way to picking up my mates girlfriend and ahead at the lights was a mx6, as we got closer i joked'hey mate theres your car' got closer and it was(same number plates and all) slammed the handbrake on, jumped out and started to smack the driverside window but it wouldnt break, i ran over and assisted in trying to crack the fckn thing, the thief then reversed back and proceeded to drive over the median strip (doncaster/manningham rds) dodging 3 lanes of traffic going the wrong way and then across another six lanes of traffic and into Elgar rd. what kind of thief steals your car, not even bothering to change the plates and proceeds to drive past your house, the one he stole it from!!!!and in the same day!!!!!! our instant reaction was to get the fcukr as soon as we could, we didnt think to follow him, we wanted the car back there and then. Has anyone else had this kind of **** happen, or are we the first to try and steal our car back from a thief.???we had our chance but we stuffed it up.
yeh we should have done alot of things like using the mag light i keep next to me, but ****' happens so fast. Id advise anyone to use a sledgehammer to the window if they can (any one driving around with a spare one of those?!) would have come in handy that day thats for sure
went to cop shop in the morning to report the car stolen
then called 000 after the incident
and went back to the cop shop after the incident
they apparantly have one car on patroll, but that day was a buisy day so they had all of theyre units out (2 patroll cars) that were buisy anyway as saturday was pissing down with rain
'the Doncaster police did a pretty good job',
they told us info of where thieves have dumped a few cars in the last week so we could go check those areas and 'do something' instead of sitting around on our asses and waiting
unlucky...
i guess the tints put on so it doesnt smash so easily... unfortunately to your disadvantage this time
ive seen this car around at the cruises too, i'll keep an eye out for it..
can't be many champagne mx6s in donny...

thanks mate,

thats crazy dude. i would been straight in the car and running the mofo down. id even crash my car just to get the satisfaction of stopping that fella and beating him... found it yet??
next time just chase! this has happened to me to, well the car wasnt stolen but the person in the car was wanted, ohh and did you try and open the door to see if it was un-locked?
my mate had the keys in his pocket, he was fumbling around trying to get the keys out after he realised the door was locked, while trying to lift the door handle and break the window all while the car was reversing back just missing the front of my car, then nearly running me over and my mate. all happened in the space of about 12 seconds. next time i will use my brain, and just chase and follow.
as you can see there was absolutely no planning, it was more , theres the car, get it back, right now! as it was in front of us for the taking, blocked in front, left and behind, lights were red, and as if you look at the median strip with three lanes of traffic on the other side of the road as a way out, and it all just happened.
planning would have got the car back or at least led to a mag light breaking the guys window stunning him for a long enough time to beat him up and put him under citizens arrest then beating him up some more and telling the cops that he did it to himself.
