Finally got internet connection again and now i may as well say whats being built for my VL.
Its a white executive with the following mods.....
Bottom end: forged crank
6 inch carillo rods
mahle silicone pistons
Will bring the capacity to about 372ci
Top end: vn heads
chev 2.02 valves
triple valve springs
chrome moly rods
Harrop manifold
Barry Grant 750dp
Heads are flowing 570hp and using crane solid cam, with peak power at around 7200-7300rpm.
Exhaust will be a dual three inch with Hooker aero chamber mufflers and the box will be a manualised TH350 with 4000rpm stall.
Dont have pics at the moment, but hopefully this week the block will come back from preperation and then pics will be posted of the rebuild.

Ok guys here are the pics finally......
The Roller Rockers, they look pretty schnazzy
Here is the cam, its a Crane 288 solid that works from about 4000-7500. Cant really see in the pic how big the lobes are, but when combined with the 1.65 rockers, lift should be in the vicinty of about .630" 8) . Duration is 260 degrees
Here a pics of the conrods and pistons. The rods are 6 inch H beam and the pistons are hi comp Mahle. The pistons are very light, they weigh not much more than a couple hundred grams. Should make the engine rev quite easy to 7500-8000.
Here are the VN heads. You can see the ports have been opened up quite susbstantially and the valves are huge. The heads have been ported and flowed to about 570hp. The 7/16 screw-in studs are visible, as well as the triple valve springs
Here is the Harrop manifold and 750 Barry Grant Mighty Demon carb. These carbs are a huge improvement over Holleys. They are like Holleys, but just built better. The throttle response with ones of these is like driving an injected car. Top quality stuff
Ive also ordered last week the stall converter. Its a Dominator Super Eliminator and it will be 4200rpm.
So thats it for now, the block should be coming back from being drilled to suit a TH350 box. Once it back il post more pics up the actual engine build.
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
