The next NSW Calais Turbo cruise will be held on Sunday 20th March. SORRY GUYS BUT IT HAS BEEN DECIDED THE CALAISTURBO CRUISE IS POSTPONED TIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO ****HOUSE WEATHER This is a chance for the Sydney VL owners and the Newcastle VL owners to cruise and meet up at one common destination - The Entrance. Meeting point from Sydney will be at Homebush P6 carpark, get there at 10:30am to leave by 11:00am sharp. Carpark location is on Australia Ave, sydney olympic park, homebush bay. (cnr of herb elliott av, park st and australia ave. Basically coming from Homebush bay drv, go left onto australia ave, past the hilled grass area (i think has the olympic rings on it) and underneath the bridge. It is almost in front of the Olympic Park train station. It is the carpark closest to the road on Australia Ave. Meeting point from Newcastle will be the Shell Servo at Wallsend just at the start of Link Road at 10:30am to leave by 11:00am sharp. Anyone that is late can catch up on the freeway. Sydney and Newcastle people will meet at Tuggerah westfields carpark (closest corner to maccas) so we can cruise to the entrance together. Travelling time is about 2 hours each, once we arrive at the entrance we will be having lunch, taking pics, chatting etc .. Paul is posting directions to the entrance for both parties in the next post. If there are any central coast people that are coming along, let us know so we can arrange a meeting point and time. i say meet at the picnic point carpark, its near the boat ramps and skateparl. theres plenty of room to park and bbqs etc

Sounds good!. Theres only really one carpark to meet at at the entrance, its on Marine Parade, heres a map. Its where the "i" and "picnic" etc. symbols are. That would be my suggestion for a meeting place. We could all catch up at the tuggerah (wyong) maccas , or the westfield , and cruise in together maybe? Cheers.

Westfield might be a better meeting place, easier to get into.

I am interested, but why dont the newcastle people cruise down the pacific highway and through budgiewoi etc, much more interesting drive then the freeway and probobly take the same if not less time.
