-Hey Every one, -Ben sent me an email about his car, and i found it very worthy to be up here.. -Enjoy the read. -SirGeo Hey Guys, I've been a member of calaisturbo.com.au for a few months now and think you guys do a really good job, well done. For the last 10 months i've been ripping my 5ltr tri-matic calais apart for a full ground up rebuild. It now features a 336Cui donk with a T5 behind it. The interanls consist of -Liqiud forged flat top pistons, -moly rings, -JP HV Oil pump, -HV Sump, -L34 Port N Polished heads, -Yella Terra Rockers, -Gear Drive, -Stripmaster Intake, -780 Holley, -Gilmer Drive, -Gear Drive, -Stage 4 Cam -and a Offset ground crank. Behind it is a T5 with -brass button clutch, -Single Piece tail shaft, -10 bolt diff (9" Comming soon) with 3.45 diff gears. Battery box has been relocated to the boot, Speco gauges with 4" tacho and S/Light, High Energy Full Roll Cage, Vanell Engineered covers and 2 catch can's. DBA Rotors front and rear, Polyutherene bushes, Lowered King springs GT Gas Shocks Front and Rear with 17" ANZ Venoms. Resprayed in the new SS Black 2pak with a gold flick, LE Sideskirts and Aluminuim Eagle Dual Wing. Interior is pretty much stock except SAAS Wheel and all plastics resprayed with the SS Black 2pak. Stereo is nothing special just a 10 stack kenwood cd player 6x9's and 2 8"subs with amp. By the way I did all work my self from stripping it to Respraying it to building the new engine and manual conversion. Future plans for the car include: 355 Storker with roller cam etc and complete MoTeC Injection on NOS, and the interior re-done. Seems a bit of a shame because this engine has only done 200km's and been on the road 2 weeks But I get bored to quickly. I'm looking forward to some 1/4 mile action and a dyno sheet. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Glad you like the car (except wing ) I get alot of mixed feedback over it but I like being different Big thanks to SirGeo for all his help and for hosting the pics!. Picking up my 355 motor and Tricked up tri-matic on Australia day and in the process of converting the dash cluster to Autometer or the likes will keep you informed.
