Hey all, Could everyone post up pics of their gauges mounted on the A pillar. I searched first and none of the pictures worked in the only good thread. Or you can send them to me ---> [email removed] Cheers, Anthony Edit: Thanks for help goes to a very old issue of Street Commodores magazine for the pics because nobody else wanted to help me... Anyway here's a few pics of my boost gauge I just put in, hope it helps anybody wishing to do the same. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

So you finally joined, instead of just reading everything I post. I'm doing it at the moment, the dash is all apart to get the old gauge out and feed the wiring through and stuff, the bracket is in place, just have to hook it all up and put everything back together. I'll post up some pics soon.

nah haven't got a cover yet but Ill get one soon enough at least i have the main piece so theres not holes everywhere, you should see the crappy jagged "hole" cut behind that piece to get the gauge in there, talk about dodgy. Im doing it right this time, fixing up the mess. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Wouldn't it have had the "Stock" hole cut in there like a bunch we saw at the wreckers? or did the fool just yoink that panel out and cut a hole? Whgere bouts are you mounting the gauge on the pillar anyways? Get some pics when you're done, oh yeah you want a cooler for your birthday? 600x300x100? 3" end tanks... Roy..

It's a very messy jagged cut out bit that doesn't really resemble any neat shape. So there's no way it's factory.

Here's the pics for anybody who's interested. I'm only about 90% happy with the position it was good where I marked it out but its very hard to get the pilot holes in the right places. Antho... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Fixed the tweeter ages ago and no the right one came out very easily, how mad does it look with black air con vents as they were meant to be.

1ShyVL: I think you're talking about a guage pod? You can buy them in singles but i don't think they're available in the vl pillar shape, Antho and myself prefer the black guage cup mounted rather than a guage pod. Roy...

Yeah yours looks good Rubin but I prefer the look of it mounted on the pillar. 1ShyVL: Yeah I know what you mean and there is absolutely no way I am putting Rice accesories in my car. Pods belong in lancers, I reckon it would look stupid having a big piece of black plastic taking up half or your entire pillar on a light beige interior, and the other reason why I wanted it down low was so it was out of the way and didn't stick out too much. Unlike a pod would.
