hey , my mate just bought a panasonic headunit , was workin great for few weeks now it jsut says E3 ERROR when u try to play a cd , anyone know what the E3 error is .... cheers

trying to play a burnt cd? panasonic headunits dont accept all cds....so if you wanna burn music onto a cd buy a different brand Like mine doesnt accept kodak or emtec cds But if that isnt the problem...take it back Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

look in ur manual, there should be a section labeled Errors. then below it look for Error 3. That will give you your error. I get Error 6 on a clarion DXZ825 alot, which turns out im incerting a CD upside down :s dont know how that works though where thre right way up.

my panasonic did this. The laser is ****ed! try one of those cleaner cd things, if that doesn't work, take it back, if it is out of warranty get a new one, don't buy panasonic though. Apparently this was a BIG problem with early panasonic decks.
