might have been covered before, but an update would be nice.
for those who have had their VL's Stolen, what alarm/immobilser system did you have it in?
any kill switches?
club locks?
fuses taken out?
it would just be i guess a learning experience to find out which systems are good and which ones have let you down
my vl had a club lock on it (they cut a hole in the wheel to get it off), it had an alarm/immobilser combination but i found out later that the immobiliser was disabled, but the alarm was working at the time but it was a cheapy, luckily i got the car back so i had the locks changed and put a new alarm/immobiliser in and now put a padlock around the T bar so it can't be put in gear. i think the original system was a redback or something like that.

what do u mean u put a padlock around the T bar? Please explain. Also the alarm wasnt called black widow was it :P
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
this is a good thread Idea, it's kinda like asking a chick what contraseptive she was using when she fell preg,
Padlock thing has been looked at, on autos to get it out of park they need to Lift the leaver up on the T bar, you can get a big padlock to put there so they cant Pull it up, thus locking your car, plus if you get the square locks, it is really hard to get on any good angle with bolt cutters
This HAS been covered to death before
The padlock idea on the shifter is crap. The top of the shifter pops off making that a waste of time
Pls do a search. There are lots of opinions and experience out there, some silly some worthwhile.
