a 180sx is rear wheel drive, single turbo. As far as power goes im not too sure, im sure someone else can answer that bit.

Ive been in a pretty much stock 180sx sr20det, same engines as the s15 just not as new, things hammer they would beat a stock vlt no probs and ive been in a s15 sr20det stock with poddy and exhaust that would beat a modified vlt on take off no problems. You could go in the s15 in 2nd going around 40 - 50 kz and start fishiing when you step on it. 7psi aswell.

im in the market for a 180 aswell, awesome cars looking for a 93 onwards model which is fairly stock so i can do it up my own way. cant stand those ricer mufflers and ugly body kits with rank white rims yuckkk!

yeah sure the 180's will beat a vl off the mark but not in top end no way they just dont have the upper torque... fun little cars though, with factory lsd in the turbo models very fun to whip the ass out in em... easy to control as well very light steering and light car = hella fun in wet Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Even more fun in the dry its like ur on ice but with good control ass end just whips out.

mate at work has a nice 180sx with the SR20DET and i can tell you in the dry it rips them up pretty good.. its just stock i think it has just got an exhaust but yeah 5 speed and everything but damm its a nice car... Have you looked at http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/ they seem to have afew good cars i was looking for an R33 at one stage before i got the VL but yeah a 180sx goes pretty hard and good for drifting!!
