Just wondering if it was worth hooking up thermo fans up, is there much difference, practical? price?

No it's not really worth it Standard fan system when in good condition is plenty. Thermos can even make your car run hotter

Personally Thermos are the go as they place less drag on the engine so to speak. They are more efficient in bringing air into the radiator even when the car is at idol.

everyone says that they dont work on vls but they do i had some AU ones on mine, they are huuuuuuuuge and pump a heck of a lot of air on full speed i still have to fibreglass the shroud a bit as its not sealing properly (hangs off the edges of the radiator), and on a 38 degree day the car didnt go over half on the gauge. they can work you just need to do it properly with a shroud once i have made them fit properly etc i'll do a 'howto'...
