Hey guys n girls, Due to my gearbox slippin, it time to pull it out and send it to a specialist to fix once and for all, I'm getting it pulled out and drained by a local Ballarat Auto bloke, and was wondering what people put the trans in to send it via courier? I'm guessing wrapped up? in a big tub? dont know.... Any thoughts or input from people who have done it before would be appreciated!! Morgs

Strap it to a timber base and make a frame out of pine and cover it in wrap plastic, cheap and easy

Awesome, thanks Matt. Got the younger bro search at work for a crate base, then I'll make a little frame around it. Also found a big plastic bag, used for building materials, and I'll shove it in there and tie it down hard onto the crate, that should hold any oil that comes out after being drained.. Thanks once again!

Sounds perfect! But you can get a rubber plug to go in the dipstick/filler hole and tape a aerosol can lid on the extention housing, it will never leak then!
