Hey, anyone here know of a place that does 3inch exhaust that are really quiet? Ive had a few VLTs in the past with 3inch exhausts and they seem to drone in the cabin which gives me that ****es!!!!!Ive had exhausts with all sorts of different setups, with resonators, without, regular cats, highflow cats ect........ If anyone knows of a place that does the super quiet 3inch zorsts let me know. I realise there will be a little noise but the quieter the better.. Thanx Guys.

Give Garry a call at Berwick exhausts, tell him what you want, he might be able to help you. Berwick Exhausts 9707 3977

a resenator and the bit over the axle should kick the drone out of any exhaust, if you dont mind using resenators ask the exhaust place to put the resenator right before the bend over axle, its worked for some people, it might also drone less with a press bent exhaust but i wouldnt substitute quality for a bit of drone

With a cat, one centre muffler and a rear ressie is quiet as Jimmy. Infact to quiet for me so i cut the rear ressie off, now it drones You can get straight through mufflers or offset one's which are more restrictive but quieter. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I had a 3" exhaust on the car from the turbo, through a 3" cat, to a hotdog at the back when I bought it. The car was quiet loud and droney which p#ssed me off along with the neighbours. I went to Berwick exhaust and they were really good. I think they changed the exhaust that I had from the cat back and added a decent muffler. That pretty much quietened the car down in the cabin and outside. At least much better than before. Garry was pretty helpful. I'm pretty sure he used to have a VLT from talking to him. Any how good luck!

Well I stumbled accross this page the other day http://www.dtperformance.com.au/vlturbo.htm and lo and behold I happened to have the exhaust off mine that weekend, and its exactly the same, right down to the exact same cat and all! Was slightly over the limit when I had it tested though (had the gaskets changed since then and its a fair bit quieter), thats with all muffler, cat and resonator. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
