>>56K BEWARE!!<< Lots of pics! ***UPDATED AGAIN 11/4/05** **UPDATED 6/3/05 WITH HEAPS MORE PICS BURNOUTS ETC** Scott (Cya:50L on this site) bought his Imperial Blue factory 5spd HDT LE at the tender age of 17 (only a few months back), it has 16*,***kms on it and has a sunroof , full leather scheel interior and a PBrock Polarizer . Obviously being an LE is has a full LE kit including side skirts, front and rear bar, grille and wing. The car's front number plate is signed by Peter Brock himself! The car was purchased for around $15,000 without wheels and this is what it looked like when he bought it...(rims are VR Calais and came off his old VR Calais 5L) Engine mods include an AVO Stage II front mounted intercooler, 3 inch exhaust (with a wicked muffler that scrapes on everything lol), HKS Sequential Blow off valve, dual stage adjustable boost (set on a flick switch for 10/15psi). A Turbo timer is also fitted. The diff is standard with a mini spool. Gearbox is standard mx7 5spd. The suspension is f*cking decked and so low its a joke. Inside there is the usual boost gauge and steering wheel, as well as an el cheapo head deck, Scott has purchased 2 Pionner 12 inch subs and an amplifier to install once he has got himself a better head unit. After about a week of ownership Scott tracked down the original Momo star 16 inch rims that came standard on this car from the previous owner and he bought them, they had been polished and look excellent on the car. Scott's future plans include: -Re upholster front leather seats -Sound system -Bigger turbo and much more engine work (he is aiming for 300rwkw as his golden number) Scott would like to thank me (Jack) for getting him into VLT's and his parents for lending him some money on a short term loan so he could purchase the car. Jack (me, ATMO BT1) purchased this VLCT series 2 5speed about 3 weeks ago at the age of 18. The car is an original calais, and original turbo and a converted manual. It has 155,***kms on it and was owned by an older truck driver before i bought it (came with dash mat, granny visors and mud flaps! lol). The car is in immaculate condition and has been resprayed fairly recently and never driven in the rain since. The interior is not worn in the slightest. The car cost $10500 and came with everything that it currently has including the Simmons V5 rims. It has a full Group A bodykit inc grille with a walky scoop (vents cut in bonnet). The engine has been slightly worked with a high flowed T3 turbocharger, front mounted intercooler, customised plenum intake, cold air induction, full (including big dump pipe) 3 inch exhaust with no rear resonator, oil catch can, plumb back blow off valve, factory pop off valve has been modified to run higher boost. An under bonnet GFB boost controller is fitted and the car runs 15psi (holds well) with the fuel pump would up for more pressure. Obviously running 15 pound the car has a turbo timer. Gearbox is an N/A 5spd with a custom clutch to deal with the power of the engine and the diff is a Borgie 3.9 LSD. Suspension is really low and really really really bumpy sometimes although it holds to the road like you wouldnt believe. Inside is the factory blue velour series 2 interior with an Autometer black faced boost gauge and a woodgrain steering wheel which connects to a homo air horn lol (not one of the dancing ones thank god). I have a matching oil pressure gauge to go in as soon as i decide where i wanna put it My future plans for the car include: Stage 1: r33 gearbox with new clutch (soon) Stage 2: Fit gauge, blue leather boot for new gearbox, new brake pads Stage 3: Bigger external fuel pump w/ surge tank Stage 4: Rims (18s either FR's, Invaders, VT GTS or Vault Kaotik) -Eventually aiming for 250rwkw. I would like to thank Paul (MR30L on this site) for helping me out with finding and choosing the car. THC VLT's for ever... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I have had 2 new shocks put in the front and 4 new springs, lowering the rear more and raising the front about 1/2 an inch (the front used to sit alot lower than the rear now she is more carpark-friendly). The new springs are Kingsprings 2 inch lowering springs. I also had 2 new bumpstops put in. Next stop is to get my front bar fixed up, hopefully this week Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
