just converted my VLT auto to manual does the computer from the drivers right hand side under the dash get removed and the plugs just sit there unplugged?? or do they get eliminated somehow or what happens with the computer and cables????

That is correct, the wiring stays there but the computer can be unplugged and removed or just unplugged.
