Do I have to change the turbo flywheel and clutch to standard setup to put NA 5 speed box in replacement of MX7 box?. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

If you want to fit the NA box with a turbo clutch setup you have to grind part of the bellhousing out to get it to fit.

I spoke to a guy that was running a 12 sec R31 Skyline with the NA box and a VL turbo clutch setup (brass button), he told me it was only minimal the amount of material that had to be removed. He used the combo for about 24months until it eventually lost 2nd gear due to age. (400k) So it sounds safe and shouldn't affect the strength of it in anyway. I don't know exactly what part required grinding though. You would have to remove the clutch/flywheel combo and sit it in the box/bellhousing and have a look.
